Marjolein van Zanten / BALUE

Marjolein has over 18 years of professional experience in project management, business development, organisation & execution of international events, exhibitions and fairs, marketing, communications, and international sales.

Marjolein van Zanten started her career at Viktor & Rolf, after which she worked for various international top end brands in London and Paris for six years (until 2009).

In 2010, Marjolein relocated to Amsterdam where she founded the 'Bottines' label and her own E-commerce platform and started as a freelance business developer for creatives under the name ‘Balue’. Ever since, she has helped clients like Studio Drift and The Wunderkammer build and grow their businesses successfully. Since 2016 she worked regularly for Stedelijk Museum and was the Project Manager for Jan Taminiau's exhibition at Centraal Museum (2018) and the launch of his new brand in 2019.

Marjolein has been specialised for 15 years in the sector of design, art, fashion, accessories but since 2019 wants to dedicate all her time to be part of regenerative projects related to climate and the earth. She therefore looks to join international projects that provides solutions for battling climate change.

Having lived in Singapore, Cape Town, Paris, London and Amsterdam, Marjolein enjoys working internationally and with different cultures. She speaks and writes fluent English, Dutch, and is an advanced French speaker, with the basics of Italian, Spanish and Japanese.
